"Twenty-ten"

So one evening while we were in Hawaii we were trying to keep N entertained at dinner. I was writing numbers on a paper and he was counting. We got all the way up to 29 without incident. "... benty-six, benty-seven, benty-eight, benty-nine..." Then he got all smart on us. "... benty-ten, also known as thirty!" We've heard the "twenty-ten" before and that is always good for a smile, but the fact that he added "also known as thirty" cracked us up! You just never know what's going to come out of him next.

That is so sweet! What a smart boy. You can tell he's heard that one from mom and dad before.

That reminds me of when N's father was in the back seat of our car in the rain at about the same age. When I entered a tunnel, I turned the wipers off. He commented, "No rain in tunnel". Smart kids.

I think he is on to something...saying I'm "twenty-tenish" is A LOT better than "30 something"! :) Love it!
